1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Spending ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Spending is a web-based application that allows users to scan receipts, extract expense data using AI, and organize expenses by project. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available."

3. User Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems
• Upload malicious content or interfere with the Service's operation
• Resell or redistribute the Service without permission

5. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. You retain ownership of all receipt images and expense data you upload to the Service.

6. Subscription and Billing

The Free plan includes 10 receipt scans. The Pro plan is billed monthly at the rate displayed at the time of purchase. You may cancel your subscription at any time. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Spending shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. The Service's total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
